Support Tree Plantation With A Small Donation That Grows Into Change
At SevaRoots Foundation, we believe that trees are not just a part of nature — they are prakriti itself. They clean our air, bring rain, cool our streets, protect our soil, and give shelter to many living beings. But today, they are disappearing.
According to Indian Express, India has lost 2.33 million hectares of tree cover since 2000 — a 6% decrease nationwide. And between 2021 and 2023 alone, Global Forest Watch reports that 93% of tree loss came from our natural forests, leaving land barren and air polluted.
If we don’t act now, we risk a future with less green, less shade, and more climate disasters. That’s why our initiative is about more than planting trees — it’s about restoring balance and caring for mitti, paani, and hava (soil, water, and air).
In 2025, our goal is to plant 1,000 trees across Delhi, focusing on public areas that lack green cover. With every sapling, we take one more step toward cleaner air, cooler streets, and a healthier city.
What Your Donation Helps Us Do
With your support, we buy healthy, native saplings from trusted government nurseries, ensuring that every tree planted has the strength and adaptability to thrive in Delhi’s soil. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) generously supports our efforts by identifying and allotting open land in areas that need green cover the most.
Once the land is ready, our team of dedicated volunteers plants and nurtures each sapling with care, regularly checking on their growth to make sure they survive and grow into tall, life-giving trees.
Let’s Nurture Nature Together
We all breathe the same air, walk on the same soil, and live under the same sky. Trees connect us to this earth — quietly giving life, shade, and balance.
When you support tree plantation, you’re not just planting a sapling — you’re sowing care, compassion, and a cleaner tomorrow.
This is seva in its truest form — serving not just people, but the planet.
