SevaRoots Foundation was established in June 2025 with a resolute and heartfelt mission: to stand alongside those most in need — with unwavering dignity (garima), deep compassion (daya), and the timeless spirit of selfless service (seva bhav).
Our founders, Anubhav Garg and Chander Prakash, held a simple but powerful thought: real service doesn’t wait for the right moment. It begins wherever we are, with whatever we can share, and grows when hearts come together.
Today, SevaRoots is a team of volunteers, donors who believe in our cause, and partners who stand by us in every effort. We serve fresh, nourishing food so no one has to sleep hungry. We provide basic school supplies to children who want to learn and aim higher in life. We help young students build practical skills to step into work with confidence. We care for vulnerable animals by providing feed and supporting trusted carers who ensure timely medical care. We also plant trees — each one a step toward fresher air and a greener, healthier future for all.
India may be the world’s fourth-largest economy today, yet many communities still struggle with challenges that should have no place in this time.
SevaRoots exists to bridge these gaps — not through big promises, but through steady, thoughtful action that makes a real difference. We share fresh meals with those who need them most, provide essential study supplies to children, offer skill training to help youth build employable futures, support trusted animal feeders and carers, help cover medical costs and distribute basic medicines, and plant trees that keep our air cleaner and our neighbourhoods greener.
SevaRoots stands strong because of the people who believe in it — volunteers who willingly give their time and effort and supporters who place their trust in our work. We keep our overhead costs minimal so that the largest share of every contribution directly nourishes the hungry, equips children with study essentials, builds practical skills for better livelihoods, supports local carers who look after animals, and increases the green cover in our neighbourhood.
We plan each activity thoughtfully. Meals are cooked fresh and served with care. Study materials are chosen to match what children truly need for school. Skill sessions are designed to build real confidence and prepare young people for honest work. For animals, we provide food and work closely with trusted feeders and carers who ensure they get timely help when needed.
Above all, we stay transparent and accountable. We keep clear records of every rupee spent and every supply distributed. We share regular updates with our supporters because we believe trust must be earned through honest action and visible results on the ground.
