Become A Volunteer At SevaRoots Foundation
At SevaRoots Foundation, we firmly believe that extraordinary results happen through ordinary people giving selfless service, or Seva Bhaav. When you volunteer with us, you are not just volunteering time- you are a beacon of hope in many lives. You help us reach rural and under-developed areas, you help feed families who are starving, you provide school supplies for young, curious minds, as well as saving trees and animals. Together, we are building a kinder, robust and compassionate India, one person at a time.
Why Volunteer with SevaRoots Foundation?
Volunteering with SevaRoots (ngo in west delhi) is not just volunteering; it is a heart journey. It is a chance to enrich life experiences, discover new possibilities of living, and to find joy in the simplicity of compassion (daya) and selfless giving (Seva Bhaav). Here is why many of us walk this path:
Evident Outcomes: See how your spirit of kindness rolls out before you- maybe it is the smile of a child thankful for school supplies, a starving family sharing a hot meal, an injured creature being nursed back to health, or a tiny seedling steadily transforming your community. Your time gives rise to ripples of connection and healing!
Flexible Involvement: We know you have a life to live! That’s why you can volunteer when it’s right for you - it could be a slower weekend, for an event, or any other day of rest. Your participation, no matter what you put into it, contributes to grassroots efforts that help the kind people we share our community with on the margin.
Connection and Gratitude: Here, you are volunteering at home with other people. You will connect with other like-minded hearts that believe our world is better when grounded in compassion, like you. All Participating efforts provided are valued, which means all the impacts are acknowledged and valued by others! We exist because of each other and to create a community based on one mission of serving and inspiring each other.
Who can volunteer for SevaRoots?
Volunteering your time for SevaRoots, is often a quiet yet powerful expression of our humanity, a way to help feed the hungry, protect ecosystem balance and restore human dignity that has been trampled on. Often, without much fanfare, just a true heart and the awareness that there is a place to stand where an act of kindness can take place!
We are delighted to meet new young adults (aged 18-50) who are looking to serve humanity. Experience community while nourishing hope and upholding the humanity in us all. Every act of compassion - small or large - has the ability to touch lives that often feel less connected to this world.
Be brave. Be gracious while serving. Let your hands be warm, and your presence a reminder of what we are capable of together.
